Hello, my name is Alex, and I’m the owner and sole operator of Purdi Paws Pet Grooming. I have always had a deep love for animals, and I have been lucky enough to work with them for over 20 years. My experience includes working as a vet assistant, kennel tech, pet sitter, and dog groomer—and maybe a bit of dog trainer, too, thanks to everything my own pups have taught me over the years.

I originally started in mobile grooming and later ran my salon from my home. After seven wonderful years, life circumstances led me to close my business. I spent some time away from grooming, but after working at a fast-paced salon, I realized just how much I missed it—especially the personal connections I built with clients and their pets. And honestly, my dogs missed having me at home, too!

So, after a long break from the grooming world, I took a refresher course and reopened my home salon in September 2024. It’s now a calm, stress-free, and clean environment where I can pamper pets while also being present for my family. (The three happy pups in the photo are my biggest fans—they’re thrilled I’m working from home again!)

I take pride in my work and truly love what I do. Whether it’s your dog’s first groom or they’re a seasoned pro, I’m here to make them feel comfortable, cared for, and looking their best. I’m excited to meet new clients and build lasting relationships—with both you and your furry family members!
